AI Visibility Tracking Included for clients

See how often AI engines mention your business

AI Visibility Tracking helps you understand whether your business is showing up in AI generated answers, which competitors are being mentioned instead, and where the biggest opportunities to improve are.

The short answer

AI Visibility Tracking measures how often AI search engines name your business when customers ask questions about your services. It records each check, compares engines, compares competitors, and shows whether visibility is rising or falling, with a plain sentence beside every chart explaining what changed and what happens next.

This feature is part of the client platform. The audit is free and needs no account.

The AI Visibility screen in the client portal. It shows the business named on five of five engines, 842 total mentions, an average position of 1.8 and a 21 percent visibility share, with a bar chart of which engine is naming the business and a donut comparing that share against three competitors.

Sample data. This is the real screen with example figures in it, not one business's results.

The real screen. Your share sits beside the competitors it is measured against, whether that reads well or badly.
What this feature shows

What you can see on this page

The page turns AI search performance into clear charts, plain language summaries, and comparisons you can read in a minute.

  • Whether your visibility is improving, flat, or falling over time.
  • Which AI engines mention your business and which do not yet.
  • Which competitors appear more often than you.
  • Which customer questions you are winning and which you are losing.
  • Where your public business information is still incomplete.
  • What work is being done right now to improve your visibility.
  • What progress has been made since the previous check.
  • The full data behind every chart, in a table you can read or export.
Your visibility trend

Is it getting better, and by how much

The visibility trend shows whether your business is being mentioned more or less often across tracked AI search checks.

Instead of only showing raw numbers, the page explains what changed and why it matters. You can see whether visibility is growing, staying flat, or falling compared with previous checks, and what is being done about it.

  • Current against previous. Every check is stored, so each report compares against the one before it rather than starting from nothing.
  • The reason, not just the number. A change is explained by what actually moved, such as more service facts being confirmed.
  • One clear next focus. Each trend ends with the single area worth working on next.

Each point is a stored check, so the line is a record rather than an estimate.
AI engine breakdown

Different engines give different answers

The same customer question can produce different answers depending on which AI engine is asked. Your business may be visible in one and missing from another.

This section shows which engines are naming your business and which are not, so you can see where you are already strong and where more work is needed.

  • Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. Each one is reported separately rather than averaged into a single number that hides the detail.
  • Not measured is its own result. An engine that has not been checked yet is labelled that way and never counted as a failure.

One score across every engine would hide the thing you most need to see.
Plain language reporting

Every chart comes with a sentence

You should never have to interpret a chart on your own. Every visual on the page carries a short explanation beside it that says what happened, why it matters, and what should happen next.

That makes the report useful to a business owner, an office manager, and a marketing lead without anyone needing a technical background.

  • What happened. The result stated in one sentence, in ordinary words.
  • Why it matters. The connection between the number and the customers you are trying to win.
  • What happens next. The action being taken, and anything we need from you.

A number without an explanation is a number nobody acts on.
What a result looks like

How a tracked period reads

Each period ends with a status, the reason behind it, and the next focus. This is the shape of that summary.

Is our AI visibility improving this period?

Improving

What this means
More tracked questions mentioned the business than in the previous check, mainly because service facts became easier to confirm.
Next action
Keep strengthening service information, then move on to the local recommendation questions where competitors still lead.

Which engine is weakest for us right now?

One engine not mentioning you

What this means
The business appears in some engines and not in others, which usually points at missing public evidence rather than at the engine itself.
Next action
Improve the public facts, service clarity, and proof that engine relies on most.

Has anything been checked yet for this quarter?

Not measured yet

What this means
The baseline for this period is still being collected. Nothing is being reported as a zero while that is true.
Next action
Wait for the first stored check of the period before drawing a comparison.

Are competitors pulling ahead anywhere?

Competitors ahead on service questions

What this means
Competing businesses are named more often for questions about specific services, which usually means their service evidence is clearer.
Next action
Review the competitor gap in detail, then prioritise the services with the widest gap.

These rows show the shape of a report. They are an illustration of the layout and are not the results of any real business.

Ask about your business

Would tracking show anything useful for your business?

Send us your business name or your website and we will tell you honestly, before you spend anything.

  • We reply within 24 hours during the working day.
  • A real person answers, not an automated sequence.
  • We never sell your details and we do not add you to a marketing list.

We use your details to answer you and to follow up once. Nothing else.

Reliable reporting

What we will and will not tell you

A report that overstates what it knows is worse than no report, because it sends you to fix the wrong thing.

  • Only measured results are shown. When something has not been checked yet, the report says so rather than showing a zero.
  • A missing result is not counted as a loss. Not measured and not mentioned are different findings and are labelled differently.
  • Every chart has a plain sentence beside it. You should never have to interpret a number on your own.
  • We never report a rank. No ranking data exists for these systems, so a rank would be invented.
  • Movement is reviewed across several checks. AI engines change their answers over time, so a single check is treated as one data point and never as a trend on its own.
  • We do not guarantee AI recommendations. Those systems are controlled by other companies. We improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the evidence they read about you.
Questions people ask

AI Visibility Tracking questions

What is the difference between the Free AI Visibility Audit Tool and AI Visibility Tracking?

The Free AI Visibility Audit Tool answers what AI engines can understand about your business today, from a single check of your public information. AI Visibility Tracking answers whether that is improving, by storing repeated checks over time and comparing them. The audit is free and needs no account. Tracking is part of the client platform.

How often is visibility measured?

Visibility is measured on a repeating schedule and every check is stored, so each report can compare against the checks before it. The exact frequency depends on your plan and on how many questions and competitors are being tracked. We confirm the schedule with you before tracking starts.

Does a lower score mean the work is not working?

Not necessarily. AI engines change how they answer, and a single check can move for reasons outside your business. That is why movement is reviewed across several checks rather than judged on one, and why every change is explained rather than left as a number.

Can you show my position or my rank in AI answers?

No. There is no ranking data available for these systems, so any rank would be invented. What we can show is whether your business was mentioned, whether competitors were mentioned, and whether your business was named before them.

Can I export the charts and the data?

Yes. Charts and the tables behind them can be exported for a team update, a board pack, or a presentation. Every chart has its supporting data available, so nothing in a report is a number without a source.
